The well-known Pakistani actors Mahira Khan and Fawad Khan are reportedly planning to work together once more for the upcoming Netflix series “Jo Bachay Hain Sang Samait Lo.” The series is based on the Farhat Ishtiaq novel of the same name in Urdu.
The 2011 telenovela “Humsafar” was based on a novel by Farhat Ishtiaq and starred Fawad and Mahira in the lead roles. In the hugely popular Pakistani movie “The Legend of Maula Jatt,” which came out last year, the pair also starred together.
According to a report by Variety, the series’ central figures are Sikandar and Liza, whose lives unexpectedly collide in Italy. Liza, a successful artist with a troubled past, meets Sikandar, a Harvard law student whose life changes dramatically as a result of a life-changing incident.
Sanam Saeed, who previously collaborated with Fawad on the 2007 television production “Barzakh,” will also be a part of the Netflix series’ cast, which is an interesting development. Ahad Raza Mir, Hamza Ali Abbasi, Bilal Ashraf, Maya Ali, Iqra Aziz, Hania Aamir, Khushaal Khan, Nadia Jamil, Omair Rana, and Samina Ahmed are just a few of the notable actors who make up the show’s ensemble cast.
In Pakistan, Italy, and the UK, “Jo Bachay Hain Sang Samait Lo” should be accessible on Netflix.
